I don't do heat well either. On hot days I spend my whole time looking for shade, and making comments like: 'Wouldn't a small snow flurry feel good right now?'
I also did find out too late to do a regular renewal for a passport, that it had expired. I did pay for the 1 week delivery, and managed to pick it up on the way to the airport. It was an important trip, and it was worth it.
Maybe because it's Canadian, it was cheaper than your option.
