One look at the back yard would explain a lot. Full of classic cars in various states of repair and some very nice finished ones too. He's not a cyclist, but he has started to ride with me and a co-worker on Sundays, which is how I met him recently. I don't even know how he acquired the bike. He's like 6-3, so it would have been way too small for him, it's a 55cm - perfect for me. I am just so glad he let me buy it, and I got it for a good price as well.
I'm going to do a complete repaint, with new chrome too. I need to find some more pics of different paint jobs these had - mostly multi-color fades.
