Yeah, a dealer would have been nice, but there isn't one close to me and, so far, I think I am ahead on price. I hope my experience will help others.

So far, Nellie from Performer has been great. I got a refund on the fork and the missing stuff has been identified and is in the mail. I will update when that arrives. We also agreed on a price to reimburse the damaged chain ring, but i have not seen that refund. I will remind her when the package shows up.
My wife and I rode is a lot last week and we are getting used to our new toy. The front seat is pretty reclined and I have extended the seat struts to sit more upright. Still evaluating where everything is to be adjusted.
I am also trying to see if I can find a suspension fork that won't break the bank and trying to get to the bottom of the IPS mod. Not sure if I will do either, but want to see what the cost and hassle factor may be before making that decision.
