Leading rides can be fun. In my case I like to use my leader's position to push the pace a bit though I write a few "regrouping" points into the cue-sheets because we are theoretically a "no-drop" club. (Yeah, I know, "pace-creep" is bad )

The other thing we do is the faster groups and the slow-and-easy social groups all start and finish near a local Pizza shop - which is a great place to socialize with your group and with those from the other groups.
