I recently watched some footage of the Ironman competition in Hawaii. What was most inspiring to watch were those people who were trying to finish the competition before the midnight deadline. These were the average Joes and Janes who were bent over, falling down and virtually delirious after 16 hours of swimming, biking and running. I visualize these warriors and decide that I can go a little further on my bike.
