Solid advice in here guys. Much appreciated!
1) How about the hubs? High flange is my preference, have read plenty of threads discussing both. Largely just weight being a factor.
2) As far as weight is concerned, if I go with box sections, have any companies in mind? Admittedly I haven't searched for them as everything else.
3) Exustar straps, my quick googling is only returning the double laminated ones, thought those won't work with my pedals?
4) I've been at 44/16 for quite awhile and I want more speed on the high end since I'm currently burning myself out. I live in Houston so there are no hills here (under and overpasses). I was going to go with 48/15 however White Industries does not produce a 15T freewheel, so the next step up was 51/16. Am I missing something here?
5) I already have a road going handlebar set up. Ridden a few bikes around here with track drops and I dig the aggressiveness. This isn't a commuter bike by any means, just want a fast bike to ride after work and to do a few group rides on.
