Saturday: No ride. Devoted myself to domestic duties and that was what was needed.
Sunday: Rode my
age+ with Mr. RR on the tandem, and his friend Danny Thomas, whom some of you might know (he's 15 mi. from the Raleigh/Durham airport, has done AOMM multiple times, sports a Carolina Brewery Company jersey). To Mr. RR's credit, he hasn't ridden more than 15 miles since the first of the month, and we had not been on the tandem since early Sept.
So the ride was just what I wanted and needed, and the ensuing meal out was excellent. All in all, a fine day.
