Man, dude, you murdered the names...

Kenda Happy Medium vs. Clement LAS. They're both good tires. The Kenda is several mm narrower. ~31mm vs. ~34mm. The Clement rides nicer and probably rolls a little better. The Kenda has damned good grip...better side bite than the Clement. They're equal longitudinally, and in both cases it's more grip than you'd have any reason to expect. The Kenda probably has better tread life, but it's also heavier. They cost about the same. The Clement has no real flat protection where as the Kenda does.

Either tire is a good bet to race cross on, but I'm going to give the nod to the Kenda for your application.
