It is quite probable that those are factory seconds and are actually made to the same standards and specs as the ones you buy for $2300, but these ones fails some QC checks at some point, which may or may not affect your enjoyment of the product. Or they may be a knockoff from a company that uses sub-standard carbon weave and has no interest or ability to do a proper lay-up. THere is no way to know until you get them.
