UNEX Folding bikes...need tires
Hi!
I am brand new to this site. I just purchased 2 UNEX folding bicycles. From what I can tell by a few other posts on the internet this was a bike produced in Romania and distributed by UNEX International Corp in Lake Forrest, IL. One person stated that they believed them to be made in about 1960. Both bikes have tires that have dry rot and will not hold air. The size of the tire according to one individual is 20 x 1.75. I am only able to make out a few words on the tires. It says: Cheng Shin Tyre and the word Nylon and states they are to be inflated to 35 psi. Can anybody out there help me? They seem to be really sturdy little bikes and I sure would hate to have to trash them. I would appreciate any information that I can get on them. Thanks!
