It's a really huge part of my life, and I'm always thinking of how I can integrate it around other commitments--riding to work, going on group rides or long solos when I know my husband is sleeping (he works nights) or at school. I run most of my errands on my bike. I always give myself the leeway time it will take to bike there, as opposed to drive, and plan my routes, so that if I am picking up something heavy, that is my last stop, etc.

Riding is just a part of my everyday life, but something I tend to take a lot of pleasure in and plan for. Just like posh cooking is for one of my best friends. It's a hobby, necessity, and passion.
