I'm sort of not really digging the MTB riding I've been doing after buying one a couple months ago. Seems overly dangerous for a roadie just looking for something different. I would enjoy dirt roads with some rocks and lots of climbing. But this whole roots and rocks everywhere, and take a left on a switchback and don't look to your right because you'll fall 100 ft (intermediate trail in GA), really sucks!
As a kid I didn't mind falling off a bike, as an adult not so much. I tried MTBing a few times but got tired of having to look out for stuff that's going to knock me off my bike.
