I've never even thought about a helmet case or bag. On commute days I just take it off at work and connect it with its straps to the handle on my backpack, or when the bike is dressed in panniers I hang it over the handlebars (I park the bike inside in a locked room). I can see usefulness for a helmet pod, I just hadn't thought of it before.
