It depends what make and model the hubs are. If they're Shimano, the chances are they'll be cup-and-cone. Some other brands may be cartridge bearings or cup-and-cone. Both varieties are "sealed" to keep dirt and water out, so the term "cartridge bearing" is preferable to "sealed bearing".
