What fietsbob said - except I was going to say, allow cyclists to stop at stop signs without putting a foot on the ground.
Done! Read your state's vehicle code. Cyclists and motorists alike are only required to come to a complete stop behind the limit line at stop signs. Neither cyclists nor motorists are required to place a foot on the ground in order to do this.
