Please help with wheel/tire size
I recently purchased a 2012 Fuji Gran Fondo 3.0 road bike with the following wheel set
Rims: Oval 330 aero alloy, 30mm rims
Spokes: DT Swiss Champion spokes 20/24H
Front Tire: Hutchinson Nitro, 700x23c, wire bead
Rear Tire: Hutchinson Nitro, 700x23c, wire bead
Front Hub: Precision ground hubs
Rear Hub: Precision ground hubs
My question is how I determine what width tire the rim is capable of handling? And more importantly how do I know what width tire will clear the break pad? I truly have no clue! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
