Many thanks for all the birthday wishes but I will admit that the birthday ride did not happen yesterday. I went to the Gym on Thursday and I ache--even now. Even more so today as my club has re-commenced the Monday night rides as they were so popular-but on Sunday. Just got back from the 15 mile ride and with travelling to it and back- I have done 26 miles. Shows how unfit I am though- 15 miles at 15mph and I struggled. Think I will switch on the TV now and act my age and rest my eyes for a couple of hours.
