Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

As it is the chain cannot be used. If it is long enough to be shortened by 1", you could remove the damaged link and rejoin it at a good sideplate.
