Ditto. The problem with this ride is that you get a lot of folks who sign up and can't really handle their machines, so there's a ton of stopping and starting and looking out for other folks. I've never done it for that reason, but those have been the reports from friends who have. Cycling in NYC on weekends is bad enough with all the cyclists who take everything a bit too seriously, but at least they know how to handle their machines as a rule.
