Hugonnier Routens (the name of the photo file is hugonnier_routens_rdrop.jpg. This is the web site it came from. http://www.blackbirdsf.org/french/hugonnier_routens/ A little History, Jo Routens (a champion Randonneur rider) and Hugonnier (his business partner) were amongst the small bike builders that sprang up in France after WWII; they started their bike company in 1945. Most of the bikes they made were utilitarian, however Routens was an expert and innovative frame builder. Routens' Randonneur bicycles and tandems were built around the newer components at the time and one of the first to use vertical dropouts with hangers long before they were main stream. His quality bikes are quite rare are really cool to look at because of the unique designs built into them.
