I have a similar set up and if you don't know (I did not) you have to use a Supernova taillight if you want to use a wired tailight. The Supernova headlight converts the dyno current from AC to DC and if you use an AC taillight, you can damage/shorten the life span of each light.
I got a Supernova tailight and mounted it in my old (non-c&v) taillight housing. Pics below.
