I have a '86 World Sport. The bottom bracket is English, you should not need to replace the crankset, just the freewheel. Any parts you use should be transferable to a different road frame. Here is mine, after the rebuild:
So getting a 700c wheelset without a freewheel would be your suggestion?
I know I want to replace the brakes. They appear to be warped. I will post pics of this bike tonight.
