Sorry, I've got no personal experience from which to base any help. But the set up in your pic's does look cock-eyed.
From their web site: "The seat pads have a built in pivot motion of approx 1/4″. This is to maximize comfort on this type of two padded saddle, and to prevent the seat tips from chaffing the back of your thighs."
So maybe its right, I'd give them a call and ask. They offer a 30 day satisfaction warranty.
