Although the link is from Colorado, all of the Gulf states have 65mph limits on rural roads except Texas - their 2-lane rural roads are 70 unless otherwise marked (curves, intersections, etc.). In Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida all 4-lane and many 2-lane roads are 65mph when well away from towns.
True. The Google link pic, looks like a road that should be no higher than 50mph. Even though it is rural Mississippi. There is no justifiable reason for driving fast on a rural road.
