I left my work clothes at home one time.
It was bad, but could have been worse.
I had to be in at 6:00 a.m. that day, and normally I start at 8. I got in at 6:00, did my little special assignment, as is my custom, went for my clothes, and thought, "Aw, sh...!" Lucky for me, it was 7:20, and if I put my scurry on, as I did, I could run home, grab my work clothes, run back, and have about 3 minutes to change out. Oh, how I scurried, oh, how I Houdinied out of my sweaty sports bra and gym shorts and into my grey work trousers, nice bra, and blouse.
Considering I'd have been sent home to change anyhow, it would have all unravelled the same way. I'm sure the payroll guy wasn't too torn up about me losing 45 minutes of overtime that day.
I think I oozed sweat for about 45 minutes. Luckily for me, I work a job where I don't see too many people most of the time, so I couldn't gross out many customers or anything.
