I've seen a few FX 2s and 3s for sale on my local Craigslist and most of them are low milage queens and they are priced in the general area of $350. If you do buy private party you should be able to cut a decent deal since most of those bike aren't used by the owners. BTW, you really can't go wrong with Trek, and remember to spend a few extra bucks if you have to because in a few months you will have forgotten about the money. Good luck!
