Five years ago I saw an ad on the local CL for a Chris Kvale touring frameset.
It was incorrectly priced and way too low.
I bought it and built it, just as I was renewing my interest in classic Italian racing bikes.
It just sat here until our neighbor told me he wanted a commuter bicycle to get to the university where he taught.
Like a doofus I sold him that beauty for a very low amount.
Every time I see him leave for work, it is a bittersweet moment.
I love the fact it is being used and enjoyed, yet I wish it could be me.
