a half-century in two parts today: the a.m. portion involved me riding 10 miles up and down the Charles River, taking photos of my kid's rowing team as they scrimmaged. then, this afternoon I got out for a 40-mile loop from Westwood through Canton, Easton, Norton, and Taunton to Lake Winnecunnet. first time in 9 months I've done a ride that long thanks to tearing a calf muscle after riding up Mt. Washington last summer.
