Hey that's really the most amazing thing you could do. I confess also to giving a take-out curry box to a homeless guy once. I nearly always give them money if they are decent about asking for it. Sometimes I tell them to be sure and spend this on cigarettes and whiskey (they look at me as if I'm nuts). When I was on holy days in LA in noted there are a lot of homeless in the santa-monica/venice area (also eating stuff out of the dumpster). Sometimes I wonder if I should try living "house-free" for a while myself. Some guys do it and they have a job and they clean themselves at work and stay pretty normal, except that they sleep in a hidden place and stay out of trouble.
