There's no sense in throwing out guesses until some things have been eliminated by a logical process, unless one just wants to be the first to guess the right answer. But just for the record, it's unusual for bearings to cause any kind of rhytmic noise, and rubber on metal is highly unlikely to cause a creak or click.

TO THE OP: Again, just trade out the wheel. If the creak is gone it's the wheel and you could try a different skewer to eliminate that. And if you want help then please answer the diagnostic questions above (post #4) that can assist in solving the problem.
