passing people on a ride means nothing becasue someone u passed could have been on their zone1 recovery ride and you (or others) mr. speed gonzales could be blasting by at max speed. That comparison doesn't really tell u anything. The fact that people are passing you on rides tells me something though.
also on a climb, rider-type comes into play. Loads of bic bois can hammer flats and crush down hill segments, place high, but when the road goes upward..... well the cupcakes weigh them down.
this isn't even me trying to troll, just saying things that makes sense in real life.
