I'm getting new bike (most likely
this one) that's 3x9 and I will downgrade it to 3x8 so I can use SRT600 gripshifts (the best ever made).
I'm planning to change:
9spd 11-32 cassette -> 8 spd 11-32
9spd chain -> 8 spd
3x9 trigger shifters -> 3x8 grip shifters
Is there big differences in the 8 speed cassettes and chains and what models should I choose?
8spd 11-32 cassettes:
CS-HG51
CS-HG41
CS-HG31
I think I would prefer black cassette (CS-HG31), but if there's big difference in quality then I can choose something else too.
