Actually, my mountain bike has a 39 cm frame. (My road bikes are 52 and 54.) Flat bar bikes have different geometries and different fitting principles from road bikes. That one looks like Trek FX (a fitness bike / hybrid). The smallest, 38 cm Trek FX has effective top tube of 54.4 cm, which would put it between 52 and 54 cm road frames.
Would you say that the bike is way too small in this pic?
