clean the bike thoroughly, frame, drivetrain, rims etc.
optional: put a hot girl on the bike in the pictures, and/or include a cute baby/pet in the frame of the photo.
and yes, do it on CL, unless you live in a podunk little town in the middle of nowhere. with ebay, there's shipping, taxes and stupid stuff like that. CL is so much easier.
