Yah, most important thing is for me to get my chol numbers back in the green. I am also on meds for Gout, and am hopeful I can get off of that one too.
Doc was happy with my initial goal of 205 (from 237) and suggested 195 as a long term median weight. I didn't expect to go under 200 before my chol recheck, but I'll take it.
Day in and day out, it's pretty easy for me to eat clean. However, last week I did 4d of business travel under ideal circumstances (I was by myself, i.e. no peer pressure and no one to compromise with for eateries) and I still put on a few temporary pounds. I didn't eat bad, but I was in the car or on an airplane for the bulk of the 4d and didn't have much chance to hit the hotel fitness room.
