I also rode the Cap2Cap starting in Richmond. The two cyclists who were hit by the semi were doing the 50 mile route. Below is the story on the Richmond Times Dispatch website. I did the century and we were in that general area when after the crash and heard tons of sirens and we were passed by ambulance who was flying. The RABA facebook group page has some comments from a RABA member who witnessed the crash. It is a sad situation.

There was also a crash a few miles from the Richmond finish involving a few bikes. I think the injury there is some road rash and a concussion.
