Wow, it is very interesting to find this thread. I am the guy who actually bought this frame. I paid $500 for it. A bit much, but it was sooooo pretty so I had to have it. Here it is all built up:
Campy Veloce (because I wanted silver as opposed to black), box section Mavic Open Sport rims laced to DT350 hubs (rear-spacing a bit off but it worked out), Ritchey Classic post, stem and bars. 20lbs 5oz -- I thought it would be about 22lbs. I was going to hunt for old '80's Campy stuff off Ebay, but wanted a classic look with modern rideability.
Rides as smooth as butter. Very nice. Don't regret overpaying for the frame. All told, about $1,700 CDN. To put it into perspective, this would be the same price as a character-less generic aluminum-framed 105-equipped entry-level to "enthusiast" bike from various manufacturers.
