I rode my commute today. It was tough but rewarding. I've ridden a lot this week. Last night was band practice, which always means a late night. Plus I'd previously brought home from the office a thingy I'm working on, so I had to lug its weight back up the hills on the west bank of the Blackstone River. (It did fit into the handlebar bag though.)
On the other hand, about half an hour before I had to head for home I found the cause of an very obscure bug I was charged with fixing, something I've been chasing for a week. I then explained it to my boss, and the resulting conversation made me leave about 10 min later than usual. But I felt satisfied and happy.
Beer is good. A nice IPA. It's good to be home.
