Pics of my late 70's/early 80's Van Herwerden
It came with a complete (except for pedals) Campy Gran Sport group and a really cool perforated Arius saddle. My first GS gruppo and I must say it looks like quality stuff. I can't (yet) tell the difference with NR on certain components, for instance the seatpost and front derailleur. I dated it '79 or '80 because of the Portacatena dropout. The paint is in OK condition, especially after the pullup-method I gave it yesterday (pics are halfway). I got it from a guy (late 40, early 50 maybe) who decided to go cf and sold me this one. He was surprised on the attention it got online, cause it was poorly advertised but you could clearly see the perforated saddle at the blurry pic and it said it was a campy-fitted bike. The seller, who btw lives in an awesome type of medieval barn-conversion also had a cool tandem in his shed and ofcourse his and hers Mees cf roadbikes, different colour though. I'll post more pics when built...
