I've been on DA 11spd for the past few months and love having the range but as mentioned can't go beyond 28t currently. I also heard about Ultegra officially being able to support and supply up to 32t which could be great if you were going to go full kitty with the group.
As for getting on the 11spd bandwagon, I think most are still split between the "I have too many wheelsets to make it worth my while" and those that don't care.

I think if you're not sitting on a bunch of extra wheels that going 11spd makes lots of sense, and even if you don't do it this time around, I'd definitely suggest that when you buy your Boyd's or some other wheel that you get one with an 11spd compatible hub simply so you don't go through the same challenge later on!
