May just be me, but I've also found Maxxis Refuse tires ride a bit better than other tough tires like Gatorskins. One thing I'll say about Gators, though... you'll be hard pressed to find another tire that'll give you as many miles as they will -- at least in my experience. I've got more than 2,000 miles on my rear already and have never been able to do that with any other tire, including the Refuse.
