The Omega Compacts have a really short ramp to the hoods, so I run a longer stem with them. I recently put on my old 3T Ergosum bars, and had to use a shorter stem, since it has a longer ramp to the hoods.
Not sure which one I'll wind up going with though - longer stem vs. longer hood to bar distance.
