Have been enjoying the Proctor on numerous short rides around the neighbourhood, shaking down and all that.

Thinking I will definitely switch out the FD and shifters soon for Suntour Sprint to match the rear. The 105 6sp's I have on don't seem so nice in friction mode by comparison, and it'll be nice to be a bit more 'matchy' - plus those two Suntour items are nice and shiny coming out of the box. Think I'll keep the DA cranks for now and save the trouble of switching in a Sprint or Superbe set, though...

Here's an updated pic now that I've added a Selle Anatomica Titanico X in 'mahogany', and gotten around to wrapping the bars:


As I've not planned ahead enough to know for sure what kind of road surfaces to expect, I'm thinking I'll bring this one with its beefy wheels and 28mm tires down to the States for our planned weekend getaway in the environs of Portland, OR in a couple of weeks...
