If there's a will, there's a way. The
White Industries ENO Eccentric Hub was made for this situation. If you build a wheel around it, all you have to do is take off derailleurs and shifters. However, it is somewhat pricey. But, it is less than a new bike, and you can be sure that the bike will fit.
