I'd have to agree... I've had more people comment (positively) on the looks of my Citizen Miami over my far more expensive (but higher quality) Bike Friday NWT.

IMHO if you don't mind the lower overall gearing of the Tokyo, that may be one of your best options.

On a side note, my Miami rolls easily when folded and when using the saddle and extended seat post as a handle, so I rarely find the need to carry it. If I were your size and wanted a bike for occasional flat land travel, I'd most likely go with a Tokyo.
