Bicyclist killed after colliding with semi in Lakewood

07/23/2013 10:01 AM MDT - A bicyclist died after a crash involving a semi Tuesday morning in Lakewood, police said. The incident happened about 8:20 a.m. on Garrison Street just off of West Sixth Avenue.
This is an intersection of 3 streets forming the letter 'K'. in addition, the streets are narrow, AND an off ramp from the 6th avenue expressway runs into the K also. no shoulder on garrison. the north side of 6th avenue isn't much better.
