I had been thinking about the TRPs, but these were like half the price, so I got hopeful that they might be worthwhile. I also found some gum hoods that could go on the old cane creek levers that I have that are the same shape as the TRPs (minus the faux drillium), so I might use those. I also liked the brown of the origin8 ones better as I'd been planning on using a brown leather saddle, but might go honey brown and can get the color of tape whatever color I want since I'm going with cotton tape and amber shellac.
