How does the double metric compare to Mulholland or Breathless? Web site says 120 mi with 9100' of climbing, the earliest start is 6:30 and the rest stop at mile 110 closes at 4:30. It all sounds a bit intimidating.

actual vert is more like 6,500 -
I've done all of these rides and there is something to say about riding down the 101 but - I'm passing this year and riding GMR, 39 crystal lake instead
