Many moons ago I was working on a large out of town construction crew. There was a really nice backpacking store in town that was going out of business and marking things down. Every pay day I would go an buy something that had been marked down. The other guys on the crew thought I was nuts for paying $50 for a back packing stove or other gadget. They would routinely go to the topless bars and blow a $100 a week. I still have most of my backpacking stuff... what do they have to show for the money they spent?
