I'm glad to hear you're getting back on the bike after the accident. Can't imagine how difficult it must be to feel comfortable on the road again. My suggestion would be to one, ride on very low traffic rural roads in your area at first. (For example, today I rode from Beloit to Broadhead, 23 miles, and saw 6 cars the whole time on the secondary roads I was on.) Number two is to hook up with a bike club in Fort Atkinson and go on some club rides. Or talk to the people at the LBS and see if they have rides going out from their store.

Cheers.
